*Covid-Update - We Are Rated As An Essential Service & Remain Open For Existing & New Patients During This Current National Lockdown*

Covid-19 Update

Our Leeds & Manchesters clinics are open and able to offer physiotherapy appointments to both existing and new patients.

We are following all the relevant covid-19 guidelines to make your visit covid-safe.

Our therapists at both sites are still accepting requests for both telephone and video consultation for all patients during this time should you be shielding or self isolating.

The safety of you and our therapists is our highest priority.

Because of this, things might look a little different at the clinic in the short term.

Here is a summary of the steps we have put in place to ensure your safety and what you should expect at your appointment if you are attending in person...

Before Your Appointment

If you intend to come into the clinic for an appointment you must complete this pre-appointment form.

This helps us check that it is safe for you to attend your appointment.

Once you have completed this form we may need to contact you by phone to speak to you directly about your injury, just to check that you do need an appointment at the clinic and that a phone or video appointment is not more appropriate.

At Your Appointment

We have staggered appointments to minimise any possible crossover between patients and to allow sufficient time to clean and sanitise the clinic room between patients.

If you do however find yourself within the building with others, please follow the one-way system in the building and observe social distancing relevant to the current government guidelines (> 2m).

You will be asked to use hand gel when you arrive and when you depart the clinic and will be offered a disposable face-mask, although it is your choice whether to wear it or not.

Your therapist WILL have to wear PPE which will include gloves, apron and mask for any part of your session where you and your therapist are within 2m on one another.

Depending on the type of assessment or treatment you need, your therapist may also wear a face-shield/visor.

After your appointment the room is thoroughly cleaned and all used PPE disposed of safely.

All these steps are in place for your safety, the safety of other patients attending the clinic and the safety of all our therapists working in the clinic.
